devastatingly for me, carmen and juni’s dynamic is almost identical to mine with my own little brother, with whom i watched this with today. i think i might cry its genuinely making me feel things. also funny as fuck. i cannot express how exhilarated i am. my brother, whose attention span is awful, was also fully captivated, he really loved it. my life is better because i rewatched spy kids with my brother today. alan cumming as floop is giving ryan ross sorry. please dont ask me the specific reason why i rewatched this

live theatre is sooooo wonderful. the duchess was the tallest and funniest in the cast and also really fucking hot but only when in drag. im in love with the queen of hearts. brillig braelig was SO threatening and chilling it gave me goosebumps argh and the mournfulness of another room in your head destroyed me. the choreography, staging, and lighting were just. mwah. i got to see one of my fav musicals live im just so happy. argh

Lifechanging Experience. the cast recording does not convey how good this show is. my friends and all the others at my school are the most talented people in the world. i could go on for so long talking about how masterfully the themes of existentialism and the nature and power of stories and storytelling are explored in the book and music of this show, i'm constantly in awe of how tight and insightful and power the writing is, each individual element excellently coming together and building towards the conclusion that says "write fanfiction" . i sobbed throughout the majority of act 2, no joke i did not stop for like 4 songs straight. this is my new favourite musical.

one thing abt this book is that it is a ghost story. and you will forget that it's a ghost story until you're halfway through and you feel how it's wrenched its teeth around you and then doesn't let go until the end. another thing abt this book is that it is a story about marginalized kids neglected and cast aside, abused and uncared for, and no matter how they show it, they are all angry.

this is THE best mika concert proshot i've ever watched i'm falling to my knees my breath taken away sobbing tears of mirth it has everything : gorgeous cinematography, a setlist that is equally delightful and devastating, the use of colours as a recurring motif throughout the whole show, and a tiny bassist who i wholeheartedly believe would die for his singer (yes in a gay way)
