i really really admire this production for making choices. nothing and everything makes sense about it. because yeah, legally blonde is a story very rooted in the early 2000s by its premise alone, so i think it makes perfect sense to ask not only what it would look like, but what about the story is important to us in the 2020s.

This might just be because I can't think of that many other songs from 2025 I love at the moment, but this is my favourite song from 2025 lyrically, and musically, it's no slouch either. « It's not that I miss you, I don't / Sometimes I just can't believe you happened » was so captivating on first listen that even as just a passing song on the radio, it already made its home in my brain, or at least a hotel reservation.
