what a great novel to end my grade 12 lit class with. the protag starts off as such a bitch god i hated his ass it reminded me a lot of house lastname md who im famously not the biggest fan of as a person (he's very compelling as a character but god he pisses me off) and seeing him recover from his injuries and get better and find purpose again was just augh. mwah. the historical fiction reincarnation stuff was really fun. save me the power of storytelling and devotion !

started off super promising and ended as one of the most repulsive seasons of television i've ever watched ! as someone who picked up dr who out of curiosity seeing ncuti in the role, i honestly don't even think i feel like watching any more of it just because of how terrible the reality war was. the shitshow of the finally just highlighted the issues of the new series... ironic how they say they were trying to attract new fans but ended up feeling super alienating to new fans as well as frustrating to old ones. and it sucks because i enjoyed myself ! i love fifteen and ruby and belinda. the whole thing's just been very soured now :(
2017 - brett sullivan

2023 - sam boyd

ending was ass but it was fun when the white guy accidentally got sent to hell. this was predictable sure but what other christmas or genie movie has a whole tangent in the middle about getting arrested for accidentally stealing the mona lisa. it was hardly even relevant to the rest of the story it was just a thing that Happened. yeah ok. must reiterate that the ending was So ass the movie wouldve been so much better if it had ended like five minutes earlier
2021 - nintendo

2024 - green day
album listen - may 22, 2025
there's a very nostalgic quality to this album, which is weird for me to say because the eras it calls to memory are ones i have not lived and i don't actually listen to a lot of music that sounds like saviors but still. i can just close my eyes and drift into somewhere that feels like a movie. shoutout bobby sox gotta be one of my favourite genders

DID NOT expect to cry as much as i did. this one was way better than the first book, oh my god. insane book. devastating book. terrible book. baffling book. wonderful book. started fucking sobbing at "i wish for a life with the person i love the most". hate how jules is aggressively straight in this, loveeee how one of oliver's first actions at real life school was being accidentally homophobic. you know what i also didnt expect to cry at as much as i did ? the musical. lmao
2007 - craig gillespie

the teddy bear scene made me understand why my teacher kept saying she would leave her husband for lars. this is the kind of movie that makes you believe in family and community !

the things i do because of my deep obsession for musicals. the musical is leagues better oh my god. (musical!oliver is deeply trans and queer to me. book!oliver is painfully cishet)

objectively not great but also im not immune whatever ridiculous bullshit was happening i honestly thought it was camp. jo koy’s standup isnt even that good but i watched this with my family and we laughed a lot so. the cousin was SO annoying god. and the son who’s 1/4 filo in retrospect is like the cringe audience stand-in that eva noblezada teaches abt our culture but also his name is junior. and. and. lets change the subject. i was gonna say “we r not That obsessed w pacquiao” until i remembered that when i was a kid and the fight with mayweather happened everyone in my class started chanting “boo mayweather” ahdjdlsks. but yeah like if you arent filipino you shouldnt watch this and if you Are filipino you would need to watch it with your parents who think jo koy is hilarious and then theres a chance? youd like it idk
