hi ! I like to think that I'm just a silly goofy guy making stuff in my basement. I started this website in late 2023 when my whole friend group was suddenly in a Neocities kick and recently i've gotten the inspiration to really work on it !
The first time I learned HTML and CSS was when I was 9 and really wanted to make a Pokémon fansite (never actually accomplished, unfortunately, but at least the spirit lives on in my heart). During the aforementioned friend group Neocities kick, I then relearned it, then shortly afterwards I also learned some very, very basic JavaScript in my grade 11 computer science class. Code has always existed in my heart (I was a Scratch kid) but I'm not like a hardcore comp sci nerd; in fact I decided against taking the class in grade 12 in favour of family studies (a great decision on my part because it led to me taking an internship that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to do otherwise). Despite my more basic skills in code, I've become very passionate in keeping my own site !
I'm a first year university student ! I plan on majoring in History and eventually getting into education to become a teacher ! Things I'm passionate about include writing and storytelling, literary and media analysis, fandom, music, learning French, history, musicals, and Bobby Brackenreid from Murdoch Mysteries. I cry at movies and video essays on Youtube dot com, I'm bad at watching television and really good at memorizing stuff because I like watching numbers go up (I can place all US states on a map, name every single country, and my record for naming every Pokémon is 1009/1025).
